I’m Joslyn Davis at the studio with 411 on Zac Efron’s new leading lady. Zac is set to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Nicholas Spark’s novel “The Lucky One.” In the book, Zac’s character is a marine, who believes he’s survived three tours of duty in Iraq thanks to a lucky photo he’s carried of a woman he doesn’t even know. When he is finished with his service, Zac’s character returns home in search of the beautiful women he believes helped him survive. It makes sense that every young and promising actress in Hollywood wanted this role. Up and comer Taylor Schilling landed the role that other actresses like Katie Cassidy and Abbie Cornish were also in the running for. Schilling is fairly unknown, although you may recognize her from the short-lived medical drama “Mercy.” So what do you guys think about this casting choice?
