Dana Ward here at the studio talking about the 1-year anniversary to that MTV moment when Kanye West hopped on stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, causing an unforgettable blip in VMA history. Apparently, MTV execs wanted to the 2 to reunite in a joint act for this year’s show, which would have meant Taylor’s performance would flow into Kanye’s rap-singing, another memorable moment that would go down in the award show’s history. But according to reports, Swift could not confirm that she would appear on-stage with West – up until the very last minute – and obviously from the 2 separate performances, she opted to go solo over a duet. And of course all of this is causing the public to say that even though TS says she’s over the 2009 incident, she’s really not, and thus, she’s refusing to forgive and forget. Or maybe she’s just forgiven and just hasn’t yet forgotten, hence, not wanting to perform opposite Kanye?? So do you think anyone is at fault for the MTV wish of having a show with these two?
