Thats right, according to reports, since Miley Cyrus is so super busy on tour right now in the US and then the UK and because about zero episodes for the new 4th season are in the can, Disney chose to delay the debut. In fact, even the current season, number-3, is getting the delay. HM will finally return to the channel in January, and its being said that the Disney Channel will release the episodes really slowly, so there isnt long period of no Hannah Montana in the new year. Dancing With The Stars is back with some new features and some new drama! Hi everyone! Welcome to Clevver TV. I’m Dana Ward and right now we’re talking all about DWTS. So the popular ABC reality show is all set for its September 12th premiere, but fans, watch out – there are some fun format changes to keep us all on our feet! In fact, the show will be putting even more couples onstage. DWTS will be starting season-9 with a Sweet-16 lineup! According to the EP, Dancing With The Stars will make a big cut halfway through the season, with THREE double eliminations back-to-back – crazy, right?!? Twilight For Adults? True Blood Season 2 Preview If you can’t get enough of vampires, Clevver TV is bringing you a preview the new season of the TV show True Blood. Welcome back to another Clevver TV show. I’m Dana Ward. The 2nd season of True Blood has begun and it seems certain that audiences just can’t get enough of it. The season premiere of the vampire favorite on June 14th reportedly hooked-up more new HBO subscriptions than any other show on the cable channel (other than The Sopranos, that is). The first episode of the new season starts right where the last season ended – with the discovery of an attacked body and a looming mystery. We don’t want to ruin any part of True Blood for ya, but let’s just say the season-2 debut had a super gorey death scene that is completely unforgettable – which could be good OR bad, depending on your view of vampires. The dark dramedy focuses on Bill and Sookie’s romance, the undead culture in Dallas and a struggle between good and evil with Maryann. It ups the ante with its erotic sexiness, passionate chemistry, insane action as well as its interesting characters and crazy wrapped-up storylines. Throughout season 2, viewers will see the characters hit a turning point. There’s mourning for Amy and Gran, struggles with dark sides, plus there’s love confusions and extreme fear. Dana Ward here for Clevver TV and were chatting about the new AI change. Judge from the start, Simon Cowell, revealed publicly that this will be his last season on the popular Fox show. Apparently, he is linking it up to his new deal to executive produce and judge the British favorite, The X Factor, as it launches in America 2011. In fact, Cowell chose to sign his X Factor contract on stage at a TV event in California. Even though Simon is moving on from his American Idol days, he said that hes had the best 8 or 9 years of his life on the show and hed wanted to leave the reality-show when it is at the top. And at the top it is! So who will replace Cowell? Well, Ellen Degeneres starts on her Idol contract when Simon leaves she tweeted that shes not taking it personally and when asked about Paula Abdul, Simon did say that they will work together in some capacity because he misses her. Is Smallville coming back for Season 9? Smallville just flew to a season’s end, and we can’t let the show wrap-up without a quick review and deets on the future of the show. Season-8 set-up Clark Kent right where he should be… that’s spending more time in the city of Metropolis working at the the Daily Planet, in order to ultimately fully realize his calling as a superhero. Clark Kent AKA Superman is greeted by several recognized characters from the iconic comic, including Plastique, Maxima, as well as Doomsday, who is the only person with the ability to kill Superman. Along with the introduction of new characters in the current season, comes the good-bye to some of the show’s established characters… some players who have been with the production since its 2001 start. Lex Luthor who’s Clark Kent’s best-friend turned worst-enemy is OUT in addition to Martha Kent and Lana Lang. The Smallville creator has been quoted as saying that the show might try to bring back Lex in season-9, at least in some part-time capacity. However, the big problem with Smallville is that as more actors leave the show – whether its due to contractual obligations or personal reasons – it makes it more difficult for writers to supply a logical plotline. Fans are hoping that since at least the main actor for Superman is still attached to the series, that Smallville will indeed live on. So it’s not news that AI might be dropping original judge, Paula Abdul. It’s been a rumor since rookie panelist Kara Dioguardi joined the reality show in its 8th season. These two – alongside Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson – have been working together on American Idol for an entire season, but the gossip that Abdul might be axed hasn’t gone away. In fact, it hit a super sour note recently, when Paula’s manager announced that he still had not received a new contract proposal from show producers, even with the 9th season auditions starting within a month. Head-honcho Simon Cowell did release a statement hinting – not guaranteeing, however – that PA will indeed be back for another go. Until then, fans continue to cheer on the return of Paula, most notably via Twitter. In the days after the manager said no contract had been signed for next season, Twitters went crazy and a KEEP PAULA movement swept the social website. I’m Dana Ward with your JONAS show update. Of course, the new season is busy getting shot and the brothers have been spotted a bunch on-set in Malibu. We’ve confirmed that Emma Roberts does guest-star in this second season and fellow Disney alum Adam Hicks from Zeke and Luther is a guest on the show, rumored to be playing a Los Angeles neighbor to the brothers, when they take a summer move to the Hollywood Hills. No word on who Roberts will be playing character-wise, but Emma did recently tweet, “Just left the set of JONAS! So much fun. Kevin, Nick and Joe are awesome.” Apparently, the upcoming season will be all about the brothers taking different careers paths, including Kevin wanting to be a film director (ok), Joe scoring a role in a Hollywood film (yeah) and Nick writing music for the band’s new album (totally makes sense)! I wonder if this is the career paths the brothers are going to try to mimic in real-life… It seems totally possible.
