I’m Dana Ward and today we’re reviewing all the info you need to know about Avatar. This is the sci-fi-based film that was reportedly in-the-making since 1995, and it generally is about humans who desperately want to explore aka invade an area called Pandora where lives a non-human form, called the Na’vi, in order to take the rare, expensive resources found on the land. The US military seemingly developed genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrids to stalk Pandora, as humans cannot even breathe there. Written and directed by blockbuster-creator James Cameron, Avatar and its 10-foot-tall, blue-skinned and tailed characters boasts an impressive 3-D experience for the viewer, thanks to a specifically designed virtual camera for developing the actors actions and voiceovers from a CG template into the final on-screen creations. Plus, I gotta add in that this film paid extremely close attention to developing all details on the new world – special effects, people – and apparently had an entire new language created for the Na’vi by some of the best in language. I am not a hippy that is trying to get you to sign up for a cult.I am an Avatar fan ,that is ,just like you ,dying to live on Pandora.The thing is that we are losing the Pandora we have right here ,on earth!The rainforests and jungles are all real ,but they are going away. So just do something ,even if it’s for the money or for the fame ,every little thing is helpful. Don’t be like the humans from “Avatar”. And thank you , Mr. James Cameron for inspiring me to help the enviroment more! So what direction will the story go in? (BIG SPOILERS AHEAD) Avatar 2 and 3 will follow Jake and Neytiri. Producer Jon Landau has said here we are exploring the surface of the planet Pandora. The interior remains to be seen. While Cameron has pointed out that Pandora wasnt the only moon shown orbiting Polyphemus, and revealed that all sequels would explore these other moons. The script isnt written yet but Avatar 2 wont take anything like the four years of production that the first film needed. The motion-capture technology, the computer-generated environments and the creatures are already perfected. Avatar cost $310 million to produce and about $150 million to market and distribute. Its already grossed $393 million worldwide, and still has a way to run. According to market research firm CinemaScore, audiences are giving it an average grade of A, and together with overwhelmingly positive reviews, this means word of mouth is very strong. In short, Avatar is going to make a profit. With Terminator 2 and Aliens under his belt, director James Cameron has shown he has no issue making sequels. In fact hes the best filmmaker in the world when it comes to quality follow-ups. Cameron was talking Avatar 2, and the Avatar trilogy, as early as 2006, and hes said again this week that two more movies is the intention.
