Zack overhears Maddie saying that she likes a boy, but that there is an age difference, and thinks she is talking about him. In fact she is interested in Jeff, another boy, who is three years older than her. Meanwhile, Cody becomes obsessed with a mime when the circus comes to the Tipton. In the end, Maddie finds out Jeff is dating someone and he calls her a kid and Zack finally gets to dance with her.
