We know that Selena is busy working on her second album with The Scene – of course, Round and Round is set to hit the public in September, plus they’re set for some state fair performances… Gomez told TV Guide’s Robyn Ross that her starring role in Ramona and Beezus was the perfect transition from her hit Disney show to the other film projects she’s working on these days. As far as the summer goes, SG said she’ll be busy with her shoot schedule for the new, revamped season of Wizards of Waverly Place and she just can’t get enough of the music from Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga for her own summer tunes. Don’t forget that Selena’s finally 18 years old, and she was ready to ring in the birthday by bbq-ing with her family – maybe even skydiving if there was no tomorrow – and she even revealed that she looks up to a handful of Hollywood actresses, Kate Winslet, in particular. Gomez did say QUOTE ‘I’m 18, but younger at heart. I’m not going to do anything that I’m not comfortable doing… I may hope and dream of having an older audience some day, for my film and TV work and my music.’ So that’s the latest from the Selena Gomez camp.
