MTV‘s The City Preview : Will Whitney make it in the NYC? MTV is back with what’s being touted as the next Sex and the City. Hey everyone! I’m Dana Ward with Clevver TV with a preview to The City. It’s the spinoff series from the ever-popular cult-like reality series The Hills. This round features the drama-lacking Whitney Port from Teen Vogue and People’s Revolution. The new show, The City, showcases Whit’s move to New York City for a PR job-op at the Diane Von Furstenburg fashion house. MTV already got fans all up-to-date with an early December 90-minute special appropriately called ‘Whitney: From the Hills to the City’. It showed viewers some of the highlights and worst moments on the original reality series. Plus, it showed some preview clips from the spinoff. Fans get to see the LA-native going after a rockstar boy who might just still be in love with his ex, plus her socialite friend sets new standards of living and everything is all tied up in a perfect drama-bow. Basically, the new shows is all about fashion, friends, love and nightlife. Hello, Sex and the City? Straight from Page Six, The City might be rocking the next Carrie Bradshaw. The new show will feature some of Whit’s newest pals including hipster photographer Erin and socialite and co-worker Olivia – and all of the girls will certainly be tangoing all around the Big Apple for dinner parties, exclusive bash hopping and of course, it’ll all be happening oh-so-fabulous designer duds.
