The queen of Nickelodean stopped by iheartradio, where she was asked about the inspiration for her song Kissin’ You. She said she wrote the song about a guy she really likes but was too afraid to tell – note here that she said likes, as in still likes right now – and when she found out the track would make it onto the album, she forced herself to muster up the courage to call and tell him for herself. So what was his reaction? Well, he didn’t run screaming that’s for sure. Miranda says they go on dates sometimes and she really likes him. He even pays for her popcorn.
