Lucy Hale Wanted To Be In The Twilight Saga

Hey guys, I’m Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV. Lucy Hale, who you all know from her break-out role as Aria on “Pretty Little Liars,” just told J-14 that she auditioned for the roles of Alice and Jane in the Twilight Saga. She says that prior to her try out she’s read the books and “wanted to be part of the first movie so bad.” Of course as we all know, that role went to actress Ashley Green, but even so, Lucy refused to give in. In fact she says she “heard about this new role, JANE, who was going to be a part of the second one, and [she] went for that.” But yet again, of course we already know acting alum Dakota Fanning landed the Jane role. So how does Lucy feel about being passed up on for the Twilight roles? She says she loves everyone they’ve cast and that she’s “such a believer in everything happens for a reason and it’s all about timing.” Plus, she adds that she likes where she’s at right now – after all, being on one of the hottest shows on TV isn’t too shabby. It’s still interesting to know that someone like Lucy wanted to, but didn’t get to be a part of the Twilight Saga.
