Keri Hilson Music Update, Knock You Down

I’m Dana Ward with Clevver TV bringing us all up to speed on Keri Hilson. You know her as that fabulous femme fatale on Timbaland’s track, The Way I Are, back in 2007. In fact, all throughout the 2000s, Hilson was busy as part of a songwriting collaboration for some top acts including Britney Spears and Ludacris – thanks to her early lessons with the piano and singing. But right now, this young artist is bringing home the bacon herself with her own In A Perfect World album which debuted at number-4 on Billboard and number-1 on the Top R&B-Hip-Hop Albums list. Some of the top songs on her album include ‘Energy’, ‘Return the Favor’, as well as the most popular US-tracks include ‘Turnin’ Me On’ and the most recent, ‘Knock You Down’. She’s been nominated for a handful of awards and Keri has even landed a spot on BET’s televised concert series, Rising Icons. Her recent hop into the direct spotlight, along with her style and flair, has some people comparing her to Rihanna. Adding more spark to the story, is how KH was apparently in talks with Chris Brown in mid-June to help him stage a comeback of sorts. So what do you think about Hilson and her music?
