Greatest Martial Arts Fight Scene

Occasionally, I am going to post scenes that I respect as a filmmaker. This is a scene from the great Ang Lee’s film Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. As far as all the elements of cinema are concerned, I feel that this is one of the greatest martial arts fight scenes ever shot. Cinematography, acting, score, and choreography are all working in unison with great lines written and delivered by brilliant actors. When all of these forces are combined, it is hard to do any wrong. Ang Lee has yet to make a disappointing film in my book. He is a true master. Truly this movie needs to be watched in Mandarin with English subtitles, I just could not get the converter to do so…English it is. A disappointment as there is true beauty in the language alone!!
