Empire State of Mind might just be the anthem for Glee, season 2. What’s up, everyone? ClevverTV in the house, and I’m Dana Ward bringing it down! Well, I wish, but let me just say the cast of Glee definitely is bringing it down. If you’re a big fan, you probably just caught wind of the full Empire State of Mind song that’s hit us hard. You know that Jay-Z and Alicia Keys track that we just got a little sneak peek of during a Glee season 2 promo?? Well, a Fox exec mentioned that this song might just be the anthem of the whole season and there’s a good chance we’ll be hearing the song again. The feel-good song makes sense because it’s all about New York and that is just the place where this year’s glee finals take place. We already know that we’ll see the cast singing and dancing to Empire State of Mind for the show, in matching black, pink, green and yellow graphic tees which very appropriately read New York City. The cool thing is that some of the guys, like Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale and Mark Salling, get to rap it out and it’s actually Amber Riley , not super star Lea Michelle, who takes the lead on this one.
