Disney’s Prom Movie Update

I’m Dana Ward at the ClevverTV headquarters with an update on the movie, Prom. This film comes to us from Disney and some people are already hoping it’s the next High School Musical. That being said, Disney has said it is not a musical and really is more 1980s teen comedy versus HSMs 1950s beach musical throwback. 10 main players were cast for the film – they’re peeps who may have worked in the industry before, but who are not uber-stars or recognizable… remember that there was a day when nobody knew Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens or Ashley Tisdale. Prom is set to follow a group of teens going through all of that high school probs and emotional drama leading up to the big end-of-the-year prom dance. Some of the cast who you might be familiar with include Aimee Teegarden, Yin Chang, Jared Kusnitz, Ben Esler and Nicholas Braun.
