Cory Monteith Talks Glee

I’m Joslyn Davis at the ClevverTV studio with news from the Glee front, and this time it has nothing to do with latest and greatest guest star. We’re getting back to basics and the characters that really made us fall in love with this show to begin with. Of course Glee wouldn’t be Glee without Finn, and Cory Monteith is opening up about his character this season. He spilled that during the course of an upcoming episode Finn will sing REM’s “Losing My Religion,” and during the course of the 60 minute show he’ll find and loose his faith. For Cory, doing this song is huge – he says: “I’ve been a huge Michael Stipe fan all my life.” He also is excited about performing a Joan Osborne hit, as well, and dishes that they’ll end that same episode with “One of Us.” He just hopes they do it well. We’re guessing they will. But another fun tid-bit to watch for that Lea Michele spilled the beans on is the possibility of a Finn sans shirt! Yep – Lea told US Weekly jokingly that Cory’s been eating like a girl – meaning being super healthy – to prep for the scene where he’ll ditch his shirt. Not sure if this is true, but we shall see.
