But since this interesting lie hit the internet, we started realizing that its been happening quite a lot in recent times. Another Twilighter the book author Stephenie Meyer was the subject of a death rumor when the Twitter-verse RT-ed a fake death a million times over recently. Tweeting was also responsible for spreading the rumor that Kanye West died in a luxury car accident. Meanwhile, its been erroneously reported via the internet that Natalie Portman fell to her death in New Zealand, Zach Braff committed suicide and Matt Damon went missing while on a California camping trip that one was apparently fatal too. Some other Hollywood members who have been caught up in the online death hoax mix include Shawn Johnson, George Clooney and Britney Spears.
