Bachelorette Jillian Harris and her fiance Ed Swiderski have announced they have called off their engagement. Every rose has its thorn. It looks like another reality show couple has called it quits! Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski from The Bachelorette have called off their engagement. Ed tells the Us Weekly, “We’re both kind of resetting. Jillian isn’t happy and I’m definitely sad about the whole thing, but we’ve got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward.” Jillian tells CelebTV.com exclusively that the couple regrets talking about their relationship in the press, especially after watching Jake and Vienna’s public blowout. Jillian says that meltdown made her and Ed realize that relationships should be kept private. The couple’s romance has hit several public speed bumps, including reports of Ed cheating with ex girlfriends. Jillian addressed those rumors at the time, saying, “There’s bumps on the road, and we don’t always deal with them properly,” “Our life is not always perfect.” For now- the two are keeping a low profile — Ed’s staying in Chicago for work and Jillian is getting ready to shoot the new season of Extreme Home Makeover.
