Avatar Recap: The Best Film of the Year?

I’m Dana Ward and today we’re reviewing all the info you need to know about Avatar. This is the sci-fi-based film that was reportedly in-the-making since 1995, and it generally is about humans who desperately want to explore aka invade an area called Pandora where lives a non-human form, called the Na’vi, in order to take the rare, expensive resources found on the land. The US military seemingly developed genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrids to stalk Pandora, as humans cannot even breathe there. Written and directed by blockbuster-creator James Cameron, Avatar and its 10-foot-tall, blue-skinned and tailed characters boasts an impressive 3-D experience for the viewer, thanks to a specifically designed virtual camera for developing the actors actions and voiceovers from a CG template into the final on-screen creations. Plus, I gotta add in that this film paid extremely close attention to developing all details on the new world – special effects, people – and apparently had an entire new language created for the Na’vi by some of the best in language.
