American Idol Preview: Simon Cowell’s Last Season

Dana Ward here for Clevver TV and were chatting about the new AI change. Judge from the start, Simon Cowell, revealed publicly that this will be his last season on the popular Fox show. Apparently, he is linking it up to his new deal to executive produce and judge the British favorite, The X Factor, as it launches in America 2011. In fact, Cowell chose to sign his X Factor contract on stage at a TV event in California. Even though Simon is moving on from his American Idol days, he said that hes had the best 8 or 9 years of his life on the show and hed wanted to leave the reality-show when it is at the top. And at the top it is! So who will replace Cowell? Well, Ellen Degeneres starts on her Idol contract when Simon leaves she tweeted that shes not taking it personally and when asked about Paula Abdul, Simon did say that they will work together in some capacity because he misses her.
